About Our Group

What is a PC User Group?

We are a computer club with the following goals:

  • Members dedicated to helping each other increase their knowledge and
skills of PC Hardware and Software.
  • An informal and inexpensive way to learn to use your computer.
  • A place to get your questions answered.
  • An entertaining way to learn about new products.
  • A place to get inspiration on new and creative ways to use a
    computer.
  • Unbiased advice on computer products
  • An opportunity to review new products and technology related books.
  • We are for beginners, experts, and everyone in-between.

When Do We Meet:
We hold meetings the 2nd Monday of the Month at 7:00 PM. The meeting consist of a guest speaker talking about their new products or a demonstration of how to do things with your computer hardware and software. This is followed by adjourning into our Educational Workshops (Special Interest Groups - SIGs) in the same building.
Be sure to click on the navigation bars on the left side of the screen to get more information about the meetings and our location.

Learning opportunities
At every meeting, we have Educational Workshops, also known as SIGs (Special
interest Groups) where people with similar interest and questions gather in
small groups to discuss these specific topics. The SIGs include:

< New Users < Photoshop
< Web Site Building < Windows
< <

We also have a telephone mentor help line for users needing assistance
between the meetings.

In addition, the informal discussions before and after the meeting are great
places to learn new things, get tips, and have your questions answered.
